After buying a descaling kit, prepare the machine. Though the descaling process may be different for various models but the initial step for all machines is same.
Remove the used capsules from Nespresso machine and clear the capsule container.

Place the water container under the coffee outlet and turn the machine on.
To begin the descaling process, you will have to press a single or more buttons, depending on your machine. In VertuoLine Nespresso machine, hold one button for about seven seconds. For Citiz, Inissia and the Pixie, for three-second press the two flashing buttons at the same time. In other machines like Prodigio, for three seconds press all three buttons.
Now the descaling process will start and will run for about 10 minutes. For various Nespresso machines, you need to refill the water tank with a used solution after some time and repeat this process.
Rinse the water container after the machine runs the cycle and put some fresh water into it. Now run the cycle again for 10 minutes and do not descale solution in water.
Empty and then rinse the drip tray.
Press the same button that you pressed at the beginning of descaling to exit the mode. Let the Nespresso machine dry for about 10 minutes before using it.

Cleaning Nespresso Machine with Vinegar:
Take 2 parts of water with 1 part of white vinegar and fill contain with them. Now run the vinegar solution through the Nespresso machine to clean it. But don’t forget to follow up the process with five more cycles of plain fresh water. Don’t use more vinegar as it may the machine interior.
Try to clean the drip tray daily and empty the capsule container. Changing the water every day is another best way to clean the Nespresso machine. Don’t forget to descale the machine in every three months with the descaling solution and the water.
